A lot of inspiration! Update

A lot has happened since my last blog, many of life's ups and downs.

Loss of dearly loved ones the hardest, yet even in the depth of grief came inspiration to create, a small sculpture, "Sorrow & Comfort". Most recently I painted a portrait of my brother reflecting a time when he was most content in life, a tribute of sorts, to my memory of him.

I have sold artworks at the Incognito Art Show, three in 2024, and another three in 2025 where all proceeds are donated to help fund programs for artists with a disability.

Many happy moments with family and friends, and of course teaching creative students.

I have also been very blessed to have travelled - Samoa with an education immersion and with my husband to Thailand in 2024, and to Scotland, England, France, Switzerland and Italy in 2025.

Oh so much inspiration! From awe inspiring art and architecture to sublime landscapes, buzzing cities soaked in history. A photographers dream!

On return from Europe, I have drawn a series of work based on some of the quiet moments that inspired me, places that allowed us to slow down, or places where new memories were made.
